What are collective rights?
Collective rights are rights collected for the lending, copying and distribution of images via cable. Because these rights cannot be collected individually from a practical aspect, they are collected collectively and then distributed by collecting societies among those who are entitled to them. An example is the lending rights fee, which is paid for lending books and the art lending fee for lending works of art.
