Do my clients pay the collective fees to Pictoright?

No. The collective royalties come from different sources. Example: Every organization with a photocopy machine pays a fee to the Stichting Reprorecht; libraries pay a small amount per lent book to the Stichting Leenrecht; and when purchasing a cell phone or tablet, for example, every consumer pays an amount to the Stichting Thuiskopie. These foundations in turn distribute these fees amongst the various collecting societies (" CBOs"). For example, Stichting Lira receives for writers and journalists, while Stichting Pictoright received fees for image creators.
