How much does Pictoright withhold?

The 3 affiliation forms have different withholding percentages.
Resale right: Pictoright withholds 10% on the first € 1,000 of resale right payments to cover the costs. On the excess, 5% is withheld

Collective rights: When distributing collective rights from 2025 onward, Pictoright withholds a 15% fee to cover costs. For distributions relating to earlier years, a withholding rate of 10% applies (for 2024) or 9% (for 2023 and earlier).

Individual rights: Pictoright deducts a percentage of 25% when paying out individual rights to cover costs

Pictoright has agreements with sister organizations (abroad) regarding the distribution of copyright fees. These organizations also deduct a percentage for costs when distributing fees to Pictoright. The percentages of costs differ per organization.
