What is Pictoright doing to prevent my work from being used as training data for an AI system?
Pictoright, in collaboration with its partners in the Federatie Beeldrecht, including BNO, NVJ/NVF, Dupho, BBK, BOK, Kunstenbond and Platform BK, is exploring in more detail what they can actually do in their day-to-day practice to address creators' concerns about AI. This research focuses, for instance, on the possibility of including clauses in licensing contracts about the availability of works for TDM purposes: in effect, a mandatory AI opt-out for all licensing partners. But other areas are also being examined to see what actions may be necessary.
