Under which category does the newspaper I want to submit fall?
Pictoright has categorized various Dutch newspaper titles into multiple categories. It is important to select the correct category when submitting. This helps prevent a submission from being rejected.
Major Daily Newspapers:
The following major daily newspapers are listed separately in the selection menu:
- Algemeen Dagblad
- De Telegraaf
- De Volkskrant
- Het Financieel Dagblad
- NRC Handelsblad / NRC Next
- Trouw
Other Daily Newspapers:
- Nederlands Dagblad
- Reformatorisch Dagblad
- Belgian daily newspapers such as De Morgen, De Standaard, De Tijd, and Het Laatste Nieuws.
Regional Daily Newspapers:
North: Regional editions of Algemeen Dagblad, Dagblad van het Noorden, Leeuwarder Courant, and Friesch Dagblad.
East: Regional editions of Algemeen Dagblad, Tubantia, De Stentor, and Barneveldse Krant.
South: Regional editions of Algemeen Dagblad, De Limburger, Limburgs Dagblad, BN/De Stem, Brabants Dagblad, Provinciale Zeeuwse Courant, and Eindhovens Dagblad.
West: Regional editions of Algemeen Dagblad, Het Parool, Noordhollands Dagblad, Haarlems Dagblad, De Gooi- en Eemlander, and Leidsch Dagblad.
Weekly Newspapers:
All other newspaper titles, weekly/monthly newspapers, and local door-to-door newspapers can be submitted here.
By "weekly newspapers," we do not mean magazines that are published weekly. These fall under the category of magazines.
Important Additional Information:
- When submitting, the general rule is to add up everything per title, per year, and submit it as a single contribution.
- Work published in weekend supplements of newspapers (e.g., PS Parool) should be included in the newspaper’s total count.
- If the newspaper falls under a bundled category (regions, other daily newspapers, or weekly newspapers), all titles in that category should be included within one submission.
- In a bundled category, the Mijn Pictoright platform provides the option to enter multiple titles within the same contribution. When you enter a title and click on the next empty field, a new (empty) field will appear for further entries.
